Mr. Reich's practice focuses on criminal defense, family law, entertainment law in the field of arbitrations for professional baseball players and civil litigation.

Mr. Reich has been in private practice since 1966. From 1961 to 1996, he was an Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, where he prosecuted cases involving organized crime and racketeering. At the time he left the United States Attorney's Office in 1996, Mr. Reich was the First Assistant United States Attorney. Before his term as an AUSA, Mr. Reich worked for the United States Department of Justice in Washington D.C.

From 1975 to 1986, Mr. Reich was an adjunct professor of law at Duquesne University School of Law, where he taught courses in Trial Tactics, Professional Responsibility, and Criminal Defense.
